British Prime Minister Boris Johnson is expected to return to his post at Downing 10 in London's capital London on Monday, officials at the media bureau said.

Johnson will return to office after a recovery period of more than a week meant for recovery from Corona's illness at the Rural Prime Minister's Residence in Chakras. British Foreign Secretary Dominic Raub replaced Johnson during his long absence from office. Johnson was hospitalized earlier this month after suffering from an exacerbation of the corona disease he contracted in March, he was transported to an intensive care unit where he stayed for two days.

Johnson was the first leader in the world to contract the virus and became ill. He is expected to return to a turbulent political system following growing criticism of the government's role in the Corona crisis. Last week, a senior government minister and Johnson acknowledged that there was a severe lack of protective equipment for the state's medical teams.

149,000 people contracted coronary disease in the UK, of whom 20,381 died. Government critics accuse her of acting too long and sticking too long to herd immunity theory instead of declaring full closure as in other European countries.
